Once an account is flagged for rebalancing, the platform automatically generates a trade proposal based on model settings, drift thresholds, and account-specific conditions among others.
If Auto-Rebalancing is Enabled:
- Trades are automatically approved and sent to Zoe’s internal review queue for execution.
- Advisors do not need to take action—the system will handle approval and submission.
If Auto-Rebalancing is Disabled (Manual Mode):
- Trades are held in queue and require your review and approval before execution.
- Advisors will receive an email notification indicating that a proposal is awaiting approval or rejection.
All proposals—whether auto-approved or awaiting advisor approval—are stored in the platform under the Investments > Rebalancing tab. From there, advisors can view, approve, or reject proposals. Even if a proposal has been auto-approved, advisors can still reject it at any time before execution (typically before 12 PM EST).
Trading Execution (12 PM – 2 PM EST)
All approved rebalancing proposals—whether auto-approved or advisor-approved—are executed between 12 PM and 2 PM Eastern Time.
- On early market close days, execution occurs at 11 AM ET.
- Proposals not approved before the execution window will not be executed that day.
Rebalancing Proposal Analysis by AI
To help advisors quickly understand the reasoning behind each trade, our platform offers an AI-generated summary of every rebalancing proposal in the rebalancing details section
When you click into a proposal from the Rebalancing tab, you’ll find a section titled “Summarize Proposal with AI” in the proposal details view.
- Why the rebalancing was triggered (e.g., portfolio drift, cash activity, tax-loss harvesting)
- Key changes being proposed (e.g., overweight positions being reduced, underweight positions being topped up)
- Any special constraints or account conditions considered (e.g., liquidation requests, wash sale restrictions among others)
