How to Assign a Model to an Investment Account
- Log into app.zoefin.com
- Click the “Accounts” tab on the left hand side
- Search for the specific account you would like to make a model change to
- Click the three dots on the right hand side and select “Assign Model”
- Or, you can click the hyperlinked account number to open the account details page and click the “Account Settings” tab in the ribbon at the top of your screen
- On the next screen, select “Assign Model”
- From here you can select either custom models created for your firm or select from models generated from MSCI, Smartleaf, Morningstar, BlackRock, Vanguard, or State Street
- Search for and select your preferred model, and click “Continue”
- You can click the carrot drop down button to get more information on each model, including the asset allocation and the holdings in a given model
- Once confirmed, click “Assign Model." In the pop up menu, confirm the model selection is correct, select a fee structure you would like to apply, and either enable or disable auto-rebalance.
- The account you applied the model to will have a proposal generated on the next trading day. If auto-rebalance is enabled, our trading team will execute the proposed trades, and if auto-rebalance is disabled, you or your trading team will need to accept the proposal for our trading team to execute the trades.
